Every client scene is unique, and every service has its own operating environment that includes geography, terrain, demographics, and protocol. Having the right equipment for each situation is crucial to maintaining the safety of clients and transport technicians. That is why we have equipped ourselves to handle a majority of special needs.
Bariatric
We can handle transportation for Bariatric Clients who weigh up to 700 lb. We utilize special equipment and extra operators to provide Bariatric transportation services. Under certain conditions, we may require the assistance of the Fire Department in transporting Bariatric clients.
Long Distance
We can transport patients to locations within Southern California. For safety and well-being, we transport patients on a gurney for long-distance destinations. We can estimate your trip cost and offer you alternatives. We can also give you a flat rate for long-distance transportation.
Education and Training
Safety goes beyond equipment. Safety is the physical and mental preparation needed to respond to each scene in a professional and safe manner. CTMs of A to B Transport receive continuing education and training that teaches physical development, safe patient handling techniques, safe lifting, critical thinking skills development, application and evaluation of skills, and scene evaluation.
